Description
The oldest Protestant church structure still standing in Washington State, the Claquato Church was built in 1857-58 and still stands in the village of Claquato just west of Chehalis in Lewis County. It is on the National Register of Historic Places, and is a popular venue for weddings and other community celebrations. It is no longer used for worship services.
